For those of you that might not be familiar with this issue. The 08-14' Impreza's are prone to have flex in the fire wall due to the clutch pedal assembly, causing the spot welds to break. In this case Autofair brought in an 08 WRX for us to repair the spot welds on their fire wall. All 6 of the spot welds were broken off. The welds are ground clean down to bare metal. After the full dash is removed, welding is done to bond the two layers together. This is much stronger than the brittle factor spot welds. The welds are then treated and painted to prevent any rust from forming in the future.
